Arts Festival

CALL FOR ARTISTS

This juried art and fine craft show takes place on the beloved Healdsburg Plaza and is sponsored by Healdsburg Center for the Arts, in collaboration 

with the City of Healdsburg. The Art Festival is limited to 60 artists and will include art demonstrations, interactive art experiences, live performances, food and wine.

All forms of visual and fine craft art are welcome to apply.

Location

The Festival is held on the historic plaza of downtown Healdsburg in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. Just an hour north of San Francisco. Healdsburg is a vibrant community and draws visitors from across the US.

Festival Dates

July 27, 5PM – 9:30PM (Art After Dark)

July 28, 10AM – 6PM
July 29, 10AM – 3PM

Fees:

Non-refundable entry fee
$10 HCA Members; 
$20 Non-Members

Booth Fees 
5’ x 10’$190
10’ x 10’$350
10’ x 20’$600
Booth fee covers the requested space and access to 110 power. Artists must provide a white tent, tables/display/chair(s) and extension cord to access the power..

General Information

If accepted, you will receive your acceptance packet, which will include:

  • Event schedule and check in process
  • Sales Tax Form
  • Check in location map
  • Booth location map
  • Invoice for booth fee

Accepted artists will be required to booth fees by June 22. If the HCA does not receive payment by this date, the booth will be assigned to an artist on the waiting list.
You may pay via Credit Card – Pay the HCA invoice online
Money Orders or personal check – Made out to Healdsburg Center for the Arts, mailed to 130 Plaza Street Healdsburg CA 95448

Schedule

Friday, July 27
Check in and set up times will be included in your acceptance packet. 
Load in to the Plaza is from 12 Noon to 3PM 
The Festival begins at 5PM, all booths must be set up and ready for business at that time.
The Festival closes for the night at 9:30PM
There will be overnight security, but we recommend you pack up small pieces like jewelry.

Saturday, July 27
Artists should arrive prior to the 10AM Festival start time.
The Festival closes for the night at 6PM
There will be overnight security, but we recommend you pack up small pieces like jewelry.

Sunday, July 28
Artists should arrive prior to the 10AM Festival start time.
The Festival closes 3PM
Load out is from 3PM – 6PM

Application

All applications must be made through Entry Thingy. Six required images to be uploaded are: five representative of the work to be displayed and one of the front of your booth. When you “submit” Entry Thingy will take you to the payment screen, your entry will not be “submitted” until your payment is made.

Minimum width of each image = 150px
Size range of each image 750kb – 4mb
Do not press “submit” until you have uploaded all of your images
