I love California. My artwork reflects my pleasure in its terrain and moods, dwelling on the hills and vineyards of Sonoma County and the coastal areas where the land rolls west to meet the Pacific Ocean.
I have drawn and painted since childhood and am largely self-taught. My influences are Barbara Jackson, Heather Wilcoxon and Marianne Goodheart in Marin and Clark Mitchell and Jean Mooney in Sonoma County. My paintings are in private collections in the United States, England, France and Canada.
I work in soft pastels, oils and acrylics. Some of my most successful paintings are commissions, which are both a challenge and a pleasure.
