Holiday Gift Gallery

Each holiday season, Healdsburg Center for the Arts features a bounty of artist made goods. The Gift Market offers an opportunity for artists to share their work with the community, providing original, hand-crafted creations for people to share and enjoy.

Here are some of the great gift items available at HCA’s HOLIDAY GIFT GALLERY:

Mamma Mia


Sadly due to COVID-19 SIP and social distancing, the we, along with the Raven Players have had to cancel this fabulous event. We thank Raven Players, Valette, Notre Vue, and Ferrari Carano for supporting this event. We look forward to bringing you an event just as spectacular. In the meantime, please be safe, social distancing saves lives.

This special showing will be a full presentation of the musical but with the added excitement of seeing missteps, corrections and enhancements as the final show comes together.

General tickets @ $35, doors open at 6:30 p.m. with hosted wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages and nibbles being provided in the reception area. Open seating

VIP tickets @ $150, of which there are only 50, includes a fabulous, pre-show four course dinner at Valette, one of Healdsburg’s premier fine dining restaurant, accompanied by wine from Ferrari-Carano and reserved, upfront seating in the theater. Dinner seating at 5:15 p.m., with short walk to the Raven at 7:00 p.m.

Afternoon of Love Songs

We regret that this event has been cancelled.

On February 15, take in the Voigt residence’s extensive sculpture and art collection as you experience the love when Pocket Opera performs songs from your favorite operas.

Pocket Opera, the Bay Area’s premiere chamber opera company, has offered accessible, “audience friendly” performances for over 40 years.  All productions are performed in English, translated by renowned wordsmith, Donald Pippin, Pocket Opera’s Artistic Director Emeritus.

The program for Healdsburg Center for the Arts will feature the best of the romantic operatic repertoire.  Selections by Puccini (La Boheme, La Rondine), Verdi (La Traviata), Mozart (Marriage of Figaro), and more!  Arias, duets, trios, and quartets telling the story of operatic love.

The afternoon will start with sparkling and still wine provided by Notre Vue Estate Winery and Vineyards, with an array of tasty bites from Mazza Catering.

Judy Voigt‘s home is nestled in the hills above Geyserville.

Holiday Gift Gallery

Each year, Healdsburg Center for the Arts searches for a bounty of artist made goods to fill the gallery during the holiday season. 2019 will mark the 18th Annual Gift Gallery and this years collection of gift items will not disappoint.

We invite you join us for the reading and share your thoughts in the post-reading discussion with the cast and director.

HCA is hosting free public readings of original plays by the Raven Players each month at HCA. The readings are FREE & open to the public. A $10 donation is encouraged but not required. Wine be available for $5 during the readings.

The Raven Players encourage new works by offering free public readings of original plays. We thank the Healdsburg Center for the Arts for hosting these readings. Please join us and share your thoughts afterward with the playwright and cast.

Run for the Arts

MAY 4TH, 2019 8:00AM

We are asking our friends, coworkers, family members and community businesses to sponsor us as we “Run (or walk) for the Arts” in the Human Race by donating $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or whatever you can to help this cause. You can also join our team!

Each year HCA offers a host of art experiences for young and old(er) alike. From our annual Young Artists show for TK-6th graders from surrounding elementary schools, to Summer Art Camp for ages 5 – 15, to the varied art workshops for teens and adults, to free community events such as Art After Dark and Healdsburg Art Festival, to art display opportunities in The Gallery @ HCA, our programs are examples of the HCA belief that access to the arts is an important component of healthy communities.

Our programs are supported by two paid staff and a dedicated team of volunteers. Community support is critical to meet our goal of providing art experiences at low or no cost, offering scholarships whenever possible, insuring access is available to all.

Art After Dark 2020



Art After Dark, a community-building street art series, will be presented  on every 4th Friday from June – August 2020 in Downtown Healdsburg.

Art After Dark will feature various artist booths, community activity booths, games, live performing arts, public art and more.

The event is presented in partnership with the City of Healdsburg Community Services.

2020 Art After Dark Artist Application

Artists are invited to apply to display their work on one of the Art After Dark evenings. Artists are responsible for their display and booth. Battery powered lighting for booths is strongly encouraged. However, some electrical hookups may be available in certain cases for booth lighting. Setup begins at 4:00 PM, Open at 6:00 PM; Breakdown/cleanup 9:00 PM. 100% of sales goes to the artist. Note: the June Art After Dark is the first day of a three day Healdsburg Art Festival and will have a separate application process. Artists' works will be reviewed by a jury for selection. Your booth fee is due within 10 days of notification of acceptance.

2020 Healdsburg Art Festival – CANCELED

SEE YOU IN 2021!

The Healdsburg Center for the Arts, in partnership with the City of Healdsburg is now issuing a call to artists for the 2020 Healdsburg Arts Festival!
This juried art and fine craft show takes place on the beloved Healdsburg Plaza. The Art Festival is limited to 56 artists and will include art demonstrations, interactive art experiences, live performances, food and wine.
All forms of visual and fine craft art are welcome to apply.
The Festival is held on the historic plaza of downtown Healdsburg in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. Just an hour north of San Francisco. Healdsburg is a vibrant community and draws visitors from across the US.

If accepted, you will receive your acceptance packet, which will include:
  • Event schedule and check in process
  • Sales Tax Form

  • Invoice for booth fee
All applications must be made through Entry Thingy. Six required images to be uploaded are: five representative of the work to be displayed and one of the front of your booth. When you “submit” Entry Thingy will take you to the payment screen, your entry will not be “submitted” until your payment is made.
