Winter 2023 Classes

We have a variety of classes and workshops for all interests and ages!

Abstract Collage and the Creative Process

This is the second workshop in Catherine’s three-part series and the follow-up to her collage paper workshop. It is designed for people with no previous art experience as well as artists interested in exploring a new medium. Participants will create an abstract collage on a wood panel. They will choose papers from a wide collection of hand-painted, patterned, and vintage papers, selecting images and text. The goal of this workshop is to provide a non-judgmental and supportive setting where participants can challenge themselves to respond intuitively to their art and unleash their creativity. We will discuss materials, composition and abstraction, and participate in a group share at the end of the workshop.

All materials are provided.
