Artist Linda J Schroeter works in the traditional medium of oil painting. Her most current body of work continues her exploration into important visual vocabulary in  Western art, specifically wildlife and still life. Her paintings often integrate man-made objects with nature of which all have a significant symbolic meaning and together form an allegorical visual treat for the viewer’s intellect to decipher making her paintings interact with both the artist’s intention and the viewer’s analysis.
Schroeter has been teaching classical painting techniques in her studio the Russian River Atelier, Santa Rosa, from 2008 – 2021. She has been included in both national and international exhibitions including The DeYoung Museum, San Francisco, International Guild of Realism, American Woman Artists – Steamboat Springs Museum Colorado, The Gazzoni Challenge – Advancing Woman Artists, Ufizzi Galleries Italy.
