Fall 2022 Classes

We have a variety of classes and workshops for all interests and ages!

Monthly Ceramics Workshop: Wheel and Hand Building

Join Linus Lancaster in the Healdsburg High School ceramics studio for another in a series of monthly ceramics classes. Learn how to throw pottery on the wheel to form functional pieces such as cups, bowls and plates. Through individual guidance and repetition, we will develop skills in our throwing techniques. This class can accommodate beginning potters as well as those with previous throwing experience. Repeating students are encouraged to sign up. In addition to the wheel, we will also explore hand building clay techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab. Simple tools will be available to further manipulate the clay.

Please note: All thrown pieces require two kiln firings, so pieces will not be available for pickup until approximately 7-10 days after class ends. Fired pieces can be packaged and shipped for an additional charge.
