Star Book Ornament Workshop – Via Zoom

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

A Special Gift-Making Workshop*

This 1-session special bookmaking workshop*: Star Book Ornament taught by Book Arts Roadshow, focuses on providing information and thoughtful hands-on instruction on how to make a 3-dimensional Star Book Ornament. A Star Book Ornament is a book that is a star that is an ornament that is a keepsake book — all in one! This book makes a wonderful gift for the holidays or any other time throughout the year. Star Book Ornaments are beautiful on a shelf or as a standing or hanging decoration.

This workshop provides bookmaking and paper crafters with an opportunity to have fun, explore a new creative outlet, and plant seeds of ideas of how books may be incorporated with existing personal art practices. Students will gain insight on how bookmaking projects can be reproduced using materials and tools that are commonly found around the home and/or are reasonably easy to obtain.
