Two day workshop with Kerry Vander Meer. Using non-toxic Akua Inks and a portable pin press roller instead of a traditional etching press, we will create monotypes on paper. Monotypes (one print) is a fluid way to make prints as the plate surface can be painted and inked with a variety of textures, techniques, and colors. Instructor will provide all materials including 4 sheets of paper (11″ x 15″), inks, tools, and plates. Bring an apron and your favorite brushes to the first class. You can purchase additional BFK paper from instructor if you wish.
This workshop is for beginning and intermediate adult students and teachers. Printmaking experience helpful but not required.
