Monoprints Using Non-toxic Inks

KVanderMeer_alhambra6Two day workshop with Kerry Vander Meer. Using non-toxic Akua Inks and a portable pin press roller instead of a traditional etching press, we will create monotypes on paper. Monotypes (one print) is a fluid way to make prints as the plate surface can be painted and inked with a variety of textures, techniques, and colors.  Instructor will provide all materials including 4 sheets of paper (11″ x 15″), inks, tools, and plates.  Bring an apron and your favorite brushes to the first class.  You can purchase additional BFK paper from instructor if you wish.

This workshop is KVanderMeer_mazautum21for beginning and intermediate adult students and teachers.  Printmaking experience helpful but not required.
