In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals of what makes a beautiful and striking portrait. With an in class lecture by Nicole Schlaeppi, she will teach you how to analyze Natural Light and to shape it in a way that demonstrates your vision as a photographer. Learn how to get inspired by your location and conceptualize images that will highlight your subjects. Practice your new skills with a model and get instructional feedback photographing a portrait with a fashion aesthetic.
Nicole Schlaeppi is a Photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in high fashion, beauty, and fantasy images that inspire others. Her inspiration is drawn from light and natural elements, her photographs transport viewers to a world of adventure. By using natural backdrops, extensive design and styling details, she creates lush, vivid, and emotional infused images that invoke a phantasmagoria of deep reverie that transport one to other worlds.
