An easy technique for anyone to master. Compose and collage onto a wood panel with various papers and images.  Layer using encaustic wax, then create a weathered look using various techniques.

All materials are supplied but you are welcome to bring some of your own thin papers (magazine or printer papers, teabags, etc.)

Cat Kaufman is a full time mixed media artist and art teacher with a studio in the SOFA Arts District of Santa Rosa, CA.  She has a BA in Elementary Education and an MPA in Nonprofit Administration
