This 4-session Bookmaking Workshop (Book Set C), taught by Book Arts Roadshow, focuses on providing basic information and hands-on instruction (via Zoom) on how to make selection a selection of six folded, adhesive and sewn book structures, with particular emphasis on adapting bookmaking projects so they can be reproduced using materials and tools that are commonly found around the home and/or are reasonably easy to obtain. This lively, stress-free Bookmaking Workshop is intended to provide bookmaking beginners with an opportunity to have fun, explore a new creative outlet, and plant seeds of ideas of how books may be incorporated with existing personal art practices.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to make “Book Set C” book structures. (NOTE: These book structures are different from the ones that were taught in 2020 Bookmaking Summer Camp Book Set A and Bookmaking Workshop Book Set B.)
