Clay as a medium has nearly limitless possibilities which I am only just beginning to explore. Adding surface texture to my wheel-thrown pots always presents interesting challenges and while making wares at Kickwheel Pottery Studio, I return to certain designs for both their familiarity and the different ways they can be executed.
