Participate in your art community
Your local art community is diverse, vibrant and supportive! Healdsburg Center for the Arts wants to help you create and connect with fellow artists and art lovers.
We provide numerous opportunities for emerging and experienced artists to participate in various ways from juried exhibitions to teaching your own class.
5 ways artists can participate
1. New Emerging Artists
Through the generous support of our private donors, HCA offers an opportunity for new emerging artists to regularly exhibit their work at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts. Learn more about this special opportunity
2. Participate in a Juried Exhibition
HCA has several juried exhibitions, and the annual art festival and holiday show. Watch the exhibit page for calls for artists.
3. Rent Gallery Space at HCA
HCA rents space on an on-going basis to artists who wish to display their art on a more permanent basis as a Gallery Artist, or for an 8 week period as a Guest Artist. Learn more and apply.
4. Teach Adult or Youth Workshops and Classes
Our education program is growing and welcomes proposals from instructors who would like to teach in our classroom or other places we hold classes. For application and details, click here.
5. Present Art Demonstrations or Give a Talk
Weekends are available for free demonstrations of your art method. We also offer the opportunity for artists to give a talk (lecture). If you are interested in this opportunity, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas.
6. Make a Donation or Volunteer
Financial and in kind support, as well as donation of time is always welcome. Financial donations support a variety of HCA activities from providing scholarships to HCA sponsored education programs, to supporting specific programs or general operations, to underwriting exhibitions and major events.
