youth and adult classes and workshops
BE an HCA instructor
HCA has a vibrant education program and works closely with local and visiting artists to provide both youth and adult art workshops. Opportunities are available to teach in the HCA space, HCA offsite space and in the artists studio.
Our education program is a collaborative effort.
Healdsburg Center for the Arts provides:
- your class listed on the HCA website
- your class promoted on HCA social media pages
- your class included, if possible, in HCA newsletters
- class registration through the HCA website
- classroom space (HCA classroom and additional classroom space at Healdsburg Community Ctr available)
- Materials (as negotiated)
Instructor Responsibilities
- provide a detailed class description. Include any materials students must provide themselves or a materials fee, if applicable.
- promote, if possible, on instructor website and/or social media.
- classroom set up and clean up
- any instructor working with students under the age of 18 must have a DOJ fingerprint clearance and must provide documentation of this clearance to HCA.
All instructors teaching youth (under 18 years old) must obtain DOJ fingerprint clearance.
