Entry Instructions

All applications must be made through EntryThingy.  Photos included in the application must be actual photos of the work the artist hopes to exhibit in the exhibition. Selection by the Juror will be final.

Artists will be informed via email of the Juror’s decision no later than October 10th, 2021. Delivery instructions and the method of providing the inventory list will be sent after notification. Healdsburg Center for the Arts retains 30% commission on sales of artwork. Artists receive 70%, for this exhibit.

All accepted work will be kept by the gallery throughout the duration of the show. Sold work may be replaced by the artist, with the approval of the gallery coordinator.

Application fee

$10 for HCA members; $35 for non-members. HCA annual membership fee is $60. Click here to become an HCA member

Completing your entry

You may submit up to 3 images
● Please include an artist statement
● Please include a description with the materials used for your piece and do not use upper case letters when describing materials used, unless it is a branded item;
● Photo sizes should be no greater than 4MB;
● Include the size of the piece, do not use inch words or symbols, and list in the order of vertical, horizontal, depth
● Accepted Artwork must be wired for hanging (no alligator clips)

Art delivery

October 17th and 18th 2021 in person
Shipped artwork must be received by October 18th, 2021.
*if shipping, the artist assumes the cost of shipping both ways;
*shipping must include a pre-paid return shipping label

Art pick-up

November 16th and 17th, 2021. There is a $20 per day charge for artwork that is not picked up by Wednesday, November 17th.

Jurors

Nicole Schlaeppi
Based in San Francisco, CA, Nicole travels regularly for Fashion and Commercial Photography assignments. She focuses on the intersection of reality and make-believe to create fantastical images that express confidence and vulnerability. Her images balance serenity and wanderlust, and transport viewers through a synthesis of location, model, and her vivid imagination. Nicole enjoys creating emotive, colorful imagery. She is inspired by feminine strength, unique beauty, and radiant light. Rachel Weill
is a travel, food, and lifestyle photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her freelance career in the 1990s as a photography student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena shooting for the LA Times Sunday Magazine. Rachel approaches her projects with great enthusiasm and love for her craft. Her work has appeared in Condé Nast Traveler, Sunset Magazine, Hemispheres, and many other publications. https://rachelweill.com/

Isha Daniels
A German photographer & artist currently residing in Sonoma County, CA.
The purpose of her art is to celebrate the delicate feminine ideal, to capture dreamy moments softly harkening back to classicalism. Her most treasured inspiration comes from David Hamilton & the Baroque masters.
