My found objects are the industrial discards that I find locally, mostly from the wine industry. This of course includes barrels and their parts but also includes innerstaves or “flavor sticks” from the more contemporary micro-ox fermentation process.
From this used material new objects are created with an artful eye and science background.

The art is in the concept and form, the science in the engineering required to process the materials into something new and useful.

Utilizing discarded materials often eases the burden on the earth.
